As the Almighty was sailing through his domain of dark space, a thought occurred, “why not fill this dark place with color and activity”? Immediately, his intellect warns him, “that would only cause a catastrophe”! What? How? Why?
The Almighty God has always dwelt alone without parents, teachers, guides, or supervisors, being his own man. There are several other eternal beings: living in his domain, but they are only casual acquaintances, as no other day-by-day companion exists. Therefore, he declares, as a spoiled brat would, [always having his way], or someone who’s always lived alone: I am God and can do as I please, for there is no one or thing able to hinder me!
A chance meeting!
One of the other eternal creators, dwelling with the Almighty God, was the River of God. They had a chance encounter. The Almighty was impressed: because the River moved, for he has never seen a moving object before. As he was gazing curiously about what it was, a voice spoke: It is the River of God! The Almighty is startled! He has never heard a voice before, other than his own. When he asks about the name, River of God, it replies: I belong to you. Again the Almighty questions the River: Does that mean you will follow me wherever I go? No! curtly replies the River. Why not: God is demanding to know? Because I refuse to follow a God who doesn’t act like a God: is the River’s answer!
Open the Box!
Ignoring the warning from his intellect, the Almighty God starts calling forth things, “apple tree, I know you, come forth”! Wow, like magic, a tree appears from the darkness, which inspires dancing and singing! Alas! The thrill is short-lived, for the tree soon disappears.
What went wrong
At the start, the Almighty God is uncivilized: because he is alone, without anyone to practice being civil. Hello, goodbye, have a nice day, and pardon me, weren’t part of his vocabulary. Therefore, his creation would be the same; running about: wild, naked, and quarreling with each other, as there was no one to teach them how to behave and conduct themselves.
The Almighty’s intellect warned him not to create like Pandora was also warned, and like any spoiled brat, he was determined to have his way no matter what! Arrogance places the Almighty in error: believing being God gave him the privilege of doing whatever, whenever he pleases.
Fortunately, there are laws of nature carved in the universe: when ignored may cause grievous results. Before creation, there was dark space and a few eternal creatures; without provisions for more. The Almighty was interfering with the balance of nature, and mother nature doesn’t like interference! The Almighty was like his creation to come, shouting, “I want more”!
Revelations 4:17: You have created all things, and for your pleasure, they were and are created. I believe this to mean; for God’s entertainment. Watching a movie is more enjoyable than staring at a dark empty room. However, in Gen 6:6: the movie turns sour for he says: thus said the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this? 6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 7 And the LORD said: I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repents me that I have made them.
